I-HUB Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC) is a not-for-profit organization established in 2020 under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems (NM-ICPS), an initiative of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. Incorporated as a Section-8 company under the Companies Act, 2013, IHFC serves as the Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Delhi, with a core focus on collaborative robotics (Cobotics).

IHFC is recognized by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, as a Scientific Research Institution (Letter No. – F.No. 11/887/2021-TU-V, dated September 19, 2024).

We are registered under Sections 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, allowing contributors to claim tax exemptions of up to 50% on donations.

We are also registered to take fund under CSR vide registration number CSR00049867.

Our work is supported through grants from the Department of Science & Technology and sponsored research projects funded by both government bodies and industry partners across India. IHFC is committed to transparency and accountability—our Annual Report provide comprehensive, audited financial statements and details of our activities of year 2024.
