Position Overview
IHFC is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Manager – Technical Curriculum Development to lead the design, development, and enhancement of curricula, training programs, and learning resources in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Robotics, Industry 4.0, and emerging technologies.
The incumbent will play a key role in developing industry-relevant and future-focused learning programs for faculty development, workforce upskilling, executive education, and technology capacity-building initiatives. The role requires close collaboration with IIT Delhi faculty, industry experts, government agencies, and training partners to create impactful learning experiences that support India's technology and innovation ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Development & Academic Design
- Lead the design, development, review, and continuous improvement of curricula, training modules, laboratory exercises, projects, and assessment frameworks in AI, ML, Robotics, IoT, Industry 4.0, Digital Manufacturing, and related emerging technologies.
- Develop competency-based and outcome-driven learning pathways for diverse learner groups including faculty members, engineering students, industry professionals, and government officials.
- Create hands-on, experiential, and project-based learning content aligned with current industry practices and technological advancements.
- Design learning outcomes, assessments, capstone projects, and certification frameworks for various training programs.
- Ensure curriculum alignment with national education priorities, industry requirements, and global best practices.
Program Development & Management
- Manage end-to-end development of technical training programs, faculty development programs (FDPs), Training of Trainers (ToTs), executive education programs, and specialized technology workshops.
- Coordinate with IIT Delhi faculty, subject matter experts, industry practitioners, and instructional designers for content development and delivery.
- Develop program execution plans, learning schedules, participant engagement activities, and evaluation mechanisms.
- Monitor program effectiveness and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.
Industry & Academic Engagement
- Collaborate with academic institutions, government departments, Sector Skill Councils, industry associations, and corporate partners to identify emerging skill requirements.
- Support development of new training initiatives aligned with national missions, government programs, and industry demand.
- Facilitate integration of real-world industry use cases, research outcomes, and innovation projects into learning programs.
- Contribute to proposal development, project reports, and technical documentation for capacity-building initiatives.
Innovation & Research
- Track emerging trends in AI, Robotics, Cyber-Physical Systems, Generative AI, Intelligent Automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Benchmark IHFC training programs against national and international standards.
- Identify opportunities for new certification programs, micro-credentials, and technology-focused learning pathways.
- Support dissemination of research and innovation outcomes through educational initiatives.
Team Leadership & Quality Assurance
- Mentor curriculum developers, trainers, and content contributors.
- Establish quality assurance frameworks for curriculum design, content development, and program delivery.
- Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the training and education team.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Tech./B.E. with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or
- Tech./M.E./MS with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in AI, Robotics, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
Experience
- Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, technical training, or academic program development.
- Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML, Robotics, Automation, Data Science, or related technology domains.
- Experience in designing and delivering faculty development programs, industry training programs, or higher education curricula will be preferred.
- Experience working with academic institutions, government projects, skilling initiatives, or technology-focused organizations is desirable.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Competencies
- Strong understanding of AI, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Robotics, and Intelligent Systems.
- Familiarity with programming environments, AI/ML frameworks, simulation tools, and emerging technology platforms.
- Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies, Digital Transformation, IoT, and Cyber-Physical Systems is desirable.
