The next-generation medical technology involves in situ drug delivery and precision surgery to enhance the treatment efficacy.

Given COVID 2019 situation and beyond, we are going to see pervasiveness of robotics devices in many applications. In healthcare situations, we need robots that can insulate health workers from the patients.
Recently, the mining industry has shown increased interest in the use of drones for routine operations in surface and underground mines. Drones can be employed during various phases of the facility’s lifecycle. This objective of this grand project (GP) is to develop and design the next generation drones for emerging industries.
The Principal Investigators (PIs) in this GP proposed products of network drones, unmanned air vehicles (UAVs), and UGVs (Unmanned Ground Vehicles) for the civilian and defense use. The products proposed in this GP are expected to be at the frontiers of the next generation industrial automation and enhanced human living standard.
