In the Hindu Epic Ramayana, Lord Hanuman ji had taken the responsibility of finding Sita, wife of Lord Shri Ram, who was kidnapped by Demon King Ravan and taken to Lanka across the ocean.
As the epic goes, standing at the shores of great ocean, Lord Hanuman was lost in the thoughts trying to think of a way to cross the ocean. Seeing him lost in his thoughts and understanding his state of mind, Jamwant Ji, the commander of lord shri Ram’s army, reminded Hanuman of his childhood where Hanuman had leaped into the sky and had swallowed the sun. Reminded of his own ability and powers, Hanuman ji leaped across the ocean and reached Lanka and the rest is history.
Inspired by the character of Jamwant, who was instrumental in reminding the God of his own powers, Jamwant ventures LLP was incepted. The aim of this venture is not only to provide funding to the budding startups/ founders but also to assist founders, who are faced with ocean of challenges during their journey as entrepreneurs, but also to remind them of their intrinsic strengths.

In July 2011, Vidyanta entered India’s nascent skill development sector in the healthcare sector, offering technical training for entry-level job roles and clinical training for nurses and doctors. Today, Vidyanta is one of India’s premier medical training companies.

On 9th February, 1996, by Rajdhani No. 4460/15-7-1(231)/1995, the Regional Office of Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh was established at Ramnagar (Nainital) for the Uttarakhand region. The said Regional Office conducted the examinations for Garhwal and Kumaon divisions for the first time in the year 1999. Even after the formation of the state of Uttaranchal on 9th November, 2000, the board examinations for Kumaon and Garhwal divisions were conducted in the year 2001 by the then Regional Office of Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh at Ramnagar. In the state of Uttarakhand, by Rajdhani No. 400-2 (260) M.S.V./2001 dated 22nd September, 2001, the Uttaranchal Education Board was established. And the Council of Examinations was established in the year 2002. For the first time, the Council organised its own examinations with the help of the Secondary Education Council of Uttar Pradesh. On 22 April 2006, the Uttaranchal School Education Act 2006 (Act No. 8 of the year 2006) was promulgated and the Uttaranchal School Education Council was established. After this, the Uttarakhand School Education Council was constituted by Government Order No. 201/XXIV-5/2008, Dehradun, dated 11 December 2008.

BotLab Dynamics is steadfastly advancing in the realm of drone technology and pioneering the automation of intelligent unmanned aerial vehicles in India. We’ve designed our motors in such a way that its manufacturing process would reduce material waste of motors by 70% and increase efficiency by 5-8%. Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, was founded with the noble vision to raise professionals and leaders of high academic calibre and unblemished character, nurtured with a strong motivation and commitment to serve humanity. Established in 1986 as an Engineering College, it was granted an autonomous status in 1999 and declared Deemed-to-be University by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in recognition of its academic excellence by the Ministry of Human Resources Development under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 vide notification no 9-3-2000-U3 dated 23.6.2004 of the Government of India. The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A) was established in 1999, as a center of excellence in Information Technology (IT) and allied areas. The institute was conferred the “Deemed University” status by the Government of India in the year 2000. It was declared as an “Institute of National Importance” by the Act of the Parliament, Govt. of India in 2014. The Institute has been conceived with the objective of developing professional expertise and skilled manpower in IT and areas of allied research. Indian Institute of Technology – Roorkee is among the foremost of institutes of national importance in higher technological education and in engineering, basic and applied research. Since its establishment, the Institute has played a vital role in providing the technical manpower and know-how to the country and in pursuit of research. The Institute ranks amongst the best technological institutions in the world and has contributed to all sectors of technological development. It has also been considered a trend-setter in the area of education and research in the field of science, technology, and engineering.
The Institute had celebrated its Sesquicentennial in October 1996 and now completed more than 175 years of its existence. It was converted to IIT on September 21, 2001 by an Ordinance issued by the Government of India declared it as the nation’s seventh Indian Institute of Technology, an “Institution of National Importance”.
The Institute offers Bachelor’s Degree courses in 10 disciplines of Engineering and Architecture and Postgraduate’s Degree in 55 disciplines of Engineering, Applied Science, Architecture and planning. The Institute has facility for doctoral work in all Departments and Research Centres.
The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi is one among the eighth newer second generation of IITs. IIT Mandi is a research university now located in Kamand Valley, Mandi city in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh.
IIT Mandi’s campus (about 14 km from Mandi) is on the left bank of the Uhl River at Kamand and Salgi villages. There is great variation in the climatic conditions of Himachal due to extreme variation in elevation. The climate varies from hot and sub-humid tropical in the southern tracts to cold, alpine and glacial in the northern and eastern mountain ranges with more elevation.
Mandi has an average elevation of 1044 meters (3425 feet) and is situated on the banks of Beas. Mandi town falls in the lower most climatic zone of the Himalayas. These regions enjoys a wet-sub temperate climate of the foot hills (450-900 meters) as against the dry-cold alpine climate with snowfall at higher altitudes (2400-4800 meters). Average annual rainfall of Mandi is 1380 mm.
Since its inception the institute has been involved with various Research and Development (R&D) projects, the institute has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with many International and National universities, Companies, Research Centres, Organizations.
The institute became an IIT under The Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011, with the intention to expand the reach and to enhance the quality of technical education in the country. The Act was passed in the Lok Sabha on 24 March 2011 and by the Rajya Sabha on 30 April 2012.

Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is one of the 23 IITs created to be Centres of Excellence for training, research and development in science, engineering and technology in India.
Established as College of Engineering in 1961, the Institute was later declared as an Institution of National Importance under the “Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 1963” and was renamed as “Indian Institute of Technology Delhi”. It was then accorded the status of a Deemed University with powers to decide its own academic policy, to conduct its own examinations, and to award its own degrees.
Since its inception, over 48000 have graduated from IIT Delhi in various disciplines including Engineering, Physical Sciences, Management and Humanities & Social Sciences. Of these, nearly 5070 received Ph.D. degrees. The number of students who graduated with B.Tech. degree is over 15738. The rest obtained Master’s Degree in Engineering, Sciences and Business Administration. These alumni today work as scientists, technologists, business managers and entrepreneurs. There are several alumni who have moved away from their original disciplines and have taken to administrative services, active politics or are with NGOs. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) was created by an act of Delhi legislature empowering it to carry out R&D, conduct educational programs, and grant degrees. The General Council is the apex body of the Institute, chaired by Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Delhi and the Board of Governors is the policy and decision-making body of the Institute. The Senate is empowered to take all academic decisions.

IIEST, Shibpur (Erstwhile “Bengal Engineering College”) ranks 27th in NIRF-2021 among Engineering Institutes. It is the first college to become Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) in India in 2014. The Institute has a rich history. It is empowering the nation since 1856. Considering the year of establishment, it is the 3rd engineering college in India but considering the year of graduation it is the 2nd oldest engineering college in India. In India, mechanical engineering technology has accounted for nearly half of the total technology imported. In terms of products, nearly one third of the value of total imports is for mechanical engineering equipment. In order to develop indigenously mechanical engineering technology for the industries so that R&D can play a key role in self-reliance, the Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute at Durgapur, West Bengal was established in February 1958 with the specific task of development of mechanical engineering technology.
The Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI) is the apex R&D institute for mechanical engineering under the aegis of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). Being the only national level research institute in this field, CMERI·s mandate is to serve industry and develop mechanical engineering technology so that India·s dependence on foreign collaboration is substantially reduced in strategic and economy sectors. Besides, the institute is facilitating innovations and inventions for establishing the claims of Indian talent in international fields where Indian products shall ultimately compete.

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is a society registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 with its Headquarters at Anusandhan Bhawan, 2 Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Marg, New Delhi-110 001. The Prime Minister of India is the Chairman of CSIR and the Minister of Science and Technology is its Vice-Chairman. The current President of the Society is the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi and the Vice President, Hon’ble Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh. The Director General of CSIR is the principal executive of CSIR. The current Director General of CSIR is Dr. Shekhar C. Mande. The Director General of CSIR is also the Chairman of the CSIR Governing Body. Presently CSIR is dedicated to the service of the nation through 38 National Research Laboratories/Institutes spread across the country including its Headquarters at New Delhi. CSIR-CEERI is also the National Laboratory of CSIR located at Pilani town in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan.
Central Electronics Engineering Research Institute (CEERI), Pilani, a constituent laboratory of CSIR, incepted in the year 1950 when Dr. Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar, the pioneer of CSIR, approached to the the country’s famous industrialist Shri GD Birla for financial assistance for the establishment of the R&D institute dedicated to electronics research. With the farsightedness of Shri GD Birla and the efforts of the then Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, the foundation stone for the establishment of CSIR-CEERI National Laboratory of CSIR was laid on 21st September 1953 by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru at Pilani. Thereafter, the Electronics Committee constituted under the chairmanship of Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha, keeping in mind the industrial requirements of the country, started developing CEERI as a premier research institute for research and development in the field of electronics. This National Research Laboratory was established to give impetus to research and development of electronics in the country and to make the country self-reliant by providing support to the industries of the country.
The Centre of Excellence (CoE) on BIRD, i.e., Biologically Inspired Robots and Drones, at IIT Delhi is an evolution from its humble research activities which began a few decades ago by its faculty drawn from the departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and several others, and centres like Centre of Biomedical Engineering and others, including a strong student’s Robotics Club since 2002.
