DeepTech Meets Global Markets especially USA

A delightful and insightful event spearheaded by IHFC IIT Delhi, in partnership with the U.S. Embassy New Delhi and SelectUSA. This landmark event pivoted around the dialogue on “Unlocking U.S. Market Opportunities for Indian Tech Startups” on 9th April 2026 at the American Center, New Delhi.

The room had full attendance and if one could read the room at one glace it was evident that these attendees were serious visionaries with curious minds and engaging questions making the conversation dynamic and insightful.

From Key Panel Discussion chaired by stalwarts in industry, startup and policy making, the focus of this event was to focus on opportunities for startups in India to establish and build in U.S. topic being: “Building, Piloting, and Scaling DeepTech Partnerships in Global Markets.”

The panel discussion moderated by Dr. Koffi Amegadje of the U.S. Embassy, New Delhi craft fully guided the whole discussion making it more fruitful for all participants and also giving us an in-depth insight on what to expect when doing business with America.

The esteemed panelists comprised of a good mix of partners and associates of IHFC.

Neeraj Bansal (KPMG India): Emphasized the importance of partnerships that de-risk innovation while enabling scale.
Manoj Yadav (Peer Robotics): Highlighted building pilots in India and scaling in markets with faster adoption, such as the U.S.

Praful Pai (MathWorks): Spoke about leveraging tools like MATLAB to shorten R&D cycles and de-risk technology for global markets.

The questions were answered promptly and all doubts and apprehensions were clarified. The room was completely energized so much so that even a networking high tea for 1 hr was not enough.

The Bottom Line was very clear:
India’s frugal innovation + U.S. scale + capital = Global DeepTech impact.

But success hinges on shared vision, strong partnerships, and clearly defined milestones both by India and USA.
