Prof. M. Balakrishnan is a Professor of Computer Science & Engineering and actively engaged in addressing the challenges mainly related to mobility and education of the visually impaired. He has founded ASSISTECH along with Prof. PVM Rao which has been successful in scaling some of the AT solutions. He is a Fellow of ACM, INAE and recipient of ACM Eugene Lawler Award as well as three national awards for his work on assistive technology.

Dr. Jayanta Mukhopadhyay is presently a professor in the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India. He is also holding the office of Dean, Outreach in the Institute. His research interests are in image processing, computer vision, robotics, pattern recognition, computer graphics, multimedia systems and bio-medical informatics. Dr. Mukhopadhyay worked extensively in telemedicine, neonatal health care, and cancer radiomics.
